Journal Entry: 22nd March 2012

Today, we were only a team of three again. I re-attached the buckles to the shoes, using cord and knotting techniques (as the night before they had fallen off again when threaded on). This actually worked a lot better and the buckles didn't fall off at all during the performance.
Emma painted the skeletal gloves ready for the show this evening and they worked really well.
There were a couple of things that didn't work so well during the performance , as I forgot to take the kerbigrips for the dancer's masks when we went up for the quick change, however I managed to improvise by using the ones they already had in securing their hair. Also, during the quick change out of the Monk's costume, I buttoned up the waistcoat wrong, but this won't happen again as it was the result of a change to the collar positioning.

We did, however, recieve a lot of compliments after the show, from the director and the writer which was really nice. We were also complimented on how tidy we had been keeping the room used for working and dressing. I feel that we have an efficient workroom/ dressing room environment as we have laid it out neatly and effectively. We have a system where each actor/ dancer has a chair each where they can keep their belonging and costume accessories/ footwear.

Our make-up & hair table after much use!
