Journal Entry: 18th March 2012

Today we went to Strawberry Hill House with our costumes ready for the technical rehearsal. It was important and beneficial to attend this as we met the newly- cast dancers for the first time and had chance to carry out any fittings before the dress rehearsal tomorrow.
The entire project is very exciting, and it was amazing to work alongside actors who are passionate about their costumes. Creative and practical solutions were carried out when collaborating with the lead actor, Leigh Stevenson regarding the Mad Monk's costume. It was useful to gain another perspective on the costume, from an actor's point of view. We really valued his opinions and appreciated his enthusiasm!
At the location, we have been provided with a dressing/ work room, which we have organised in a successful and efficient way.
As well as being in control of costumes, we hold responsibility of props and make-up, which combined, makes this a truly unique experience.
